Enrich - Malaysia Airlines

Enrich
Enrich is Malaysia Airlines’ official rewards program that members can join to accrue points which can be used to redeem award flights, cabin upgrades, hotel bookings, and car rentals. This program is over 15 years old and has thousands of members who enjoy its many perks and benefits. There are a number of Elite status levels that basis members can work their way up to after earning enough points. You will find that each of these advanced statuses come with their own set of benefits for members to enjoy.

Members of the Enrich rewards program earn miles depending on the route and fare flown. International economy fares earn between 30 to 1245 percent of the mileage flown, which is considerably more than some of the other airline rewards programs out there. Members are also able to earn miles on nine partner airlines, over 50 different hotel brands, credit card partners, car rental companies, and other partners such as mobile phone, travel, shopping, spas, and more. Those who are interested in joining the Enrich reward program will want to take the time to learn as much as possible about what it has to offer before making a final decision.

Program Review

Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB), formerly known as Malaysian Airline System Berhad, is a major airline operating flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and from secondary hubs in Kola Kinablu and Kuching to destinations throughout Asia, Oceania, and Europe. Malaysia Airlines is the official flag carrier of Malaysia and a member of the oneworld airline alliance. This company’s headquarters are located at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

In August of 2014, the Malaysian government’s sovereign wealth fund announced its intention to purchase the remaining ownership from minority shareholders and de-list the airline from Malaysia’s stock exchange, thereby renationalizing the airline. Malaysia Airlines owns two different subsidiary airlines, including Firefly and MASwings. Firefly operates schedules flights from its two home bases Penang International Airport and Subang International Airport.

You will be able to redeem the points you accrue for a number of things, such as award flights and cabin upgrades. This program can be very beneficial for its members as a whole.

Earning Enrich Points

Members can earn Enrich Miles when they fly with Malaysia Airlines, any of the oneworld member airlines, or with partner airlines. You can also earn points when using co-branded cards, booking in partner hotels, and availing of services from other partners.

Partner Flights: Malaysia Airlines is part of one world, which allows flyers the ability to earn miles for flights flown with alliance airlines. The number of miles you earn from each partner varies, so it’s best to refer to Malaysia Airlines’ site to understand the amount of mileage you can earn from your upcoming flight. Aside from oneworld member airlines, Malaysia Airlines also has existing partnerships with Air France, Alitalia, Jet Airways, KLM, MASwings, Virgin Atlantic, and Etihad Airways. To earn miles on a oneworld member airline or a partner flight, choose Enrich Malaysia Airlines as your rewards program, and input your member number. Check your account post-flight to ensure the mileage credits were properly posted to your account.
Credit Card Spending: Depending on your country of residence, Malaysia Airlines has co-branded credit cards and transfer programs available to earn additional miles.
