You can reap the preferential benefits gained from 13-partnership airlines. As a FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines member, you will have access to more than 600-lounges and 1000-destinations around the world! Your membership entitles you to:

• Earn and redeem FlySmiLes miles when you travel
• It includes flights with SriLankan Airlines, the OneWorld membership, affiliate or with any other recognized airlines.

Membership Categories

The FlySmiLes program offers you 4-levels of membership, which are;

• Classic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum
• Silver status membership is exclusive to SriLankan Airlines credit card holders
• Members also have the opportunity of a Baggage Bonus Program that offers exclusive extra baggage allowances.
• A Young SmiLes program is exclusive to travelers between 2-to- 18 years of age.

Each mile earned brings you closer to the next tier, which means greater rewards privileges with each Tier in your progress.

Earn Your SmiLes

These miles are your rewards, which you can earn for each flight made. You are also awarded Miles when you spend with any FlySmiLes non-airline affiliated provider, for example;

• At dining establishments
• Retail Shopping
• Banking
• Communications partners
• Converting partner loyalty and reward points

Your accumulated Miles reach their expiry date after three years in the months of March and September. You can earn Miles according to the original class booking, and distance traveled.

Tier Miles

Tier Miles indicate and determine your status within the FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines program earned solely with SriLankan Airlines and OneWorld member airlines. The Tier status is calculated and founded on your miles earned during a preceding 12-month period.

FlySmiLes Classic Member

Qualification for this status tier calls for;

• Earning 20,000 Tier Miles (20-sectors with a minimum 1-sector with SriLankan Airlines)
• Renewal is 15,000 Tier Miles or 15-sectors (Minimum 1-sector with SriLankan Airlines)
• As a FlySmiLes Classic member, you will be recognized within the OneWorld Alliance with a Ruby tier, with appropriate benefits.

This membership status entitles you to various and preferential benefits, with recognition across your travel experiences with the entire OneWorld airlines network.

You can benefit from a worldwide network offering more than 1000-destinations and 13-airline members. It includes preferred advantages when making reservations and at check-in!

Silver Membership

Membership with FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines as a Silver status member is limited to SriLankan Airlines branded card holders. Excess baggage advantages offered within the Silver tier status and/or any of the other designated membership tiers are not eligible for combining in order to take advantage of other benefits.

As a Silver member, you are also qualified for membership in the FlySmiLes Club if you have achieved Platinum, Gold or Classic status. This will depend upon your travel distance and the Tier miles accumulated by flying with SriLankan Airlines and recognized member airlines. This membership entitles you to all OneWorld benefits across its entire network.

Qualification to Gold status requires:

• 40,000-Tier-miles or 40-sectors
• A minimum of 20,000-Tier-miles or 20-sectors on SriLankan Airlines
• Renewal needs 35,000-Tier-miles or 35-sectors
• Minimum of 18,000-Tier-miles or 18-sectors on SriLankan Airlines

Gold Status

Your Gold status membership of the elite FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines entitles you to preferred privileges, which include;

• Complimentary lounge access in about1000-destinations within the OneWorld airlines network.
• Preferential Business Class check-in and boarding
• Extra baggage allowances

They are privileges designed to create a journey for you of luxury when and wherever you travel. To achieve a Platinum status level the following Tier Miles are required;

• 60,000-Tier-miles (60-sectors)
• A minimum of 30, 000-Tier miles (30-sectors) is required with SriLankan Airlines
• Renewal needs 55,000-Tier miles (55-sectors)
• A minimum of 28,000-Tier miles (28-sectors) is required with SriLankan Airlines

Platinum Member Status

This Tier Status is the pinnacle tier of the elite FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines Club and is devoted to our Frequent International Travelers. You can reap the advantages and benefits derived from a personalized service that is provided throughout your journey. With international recognition across more than 1000-destinations you can relax and enjoy preferential service, which includes;

• Complimentary Lounge access
• Extra baggage allowances
• Preferred check-in at First/Business Class counters (irrespective of your travel class).

Category Bonuses

As a Platinum and Gold status member of the FlySmiLes - SriLankan Airlines Club you are shown appreciation with added rewards, for example. When you take a SriLankan Airlines flight, in addition to your Miles flown earnings, as a Platinum member you would earn extra 25-percent miles. As a Gold member, this bonus would be an added 15-percent Tier bonus.
