Program Review

Czech Airlines is the national airline of the Czech Republic, headquartered at the 6th district of Vokovice. The airline’s hub is at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague, though it has other bases in Czech city Karlovy Vary and Slovakian cities Bratislava and Kosice. Today, it operates scheduled, charter and cargo services. The airline runs a frequent flyer program called OK Plus, which is a reference to the airline’s IATA designation and the term of approval.

This airline carried 2.26 million passengers on their flights in 2016, which is a 13% increase compared to 2015. CSA is the fifth oldest airline in the world that still operates flights. Some of the older airlines include Dutch KLM, Colombian Avianca, Australian Qantas, and Soviet/Russia Aeroflot. Czech Airlines has a fleet size of 18 aircrafts that fly to 43 different destinations.

OK Plus Program

The OK Plus program from Czech Airlines offers members the ability to earn points, which can be redeemed for a number of different rewards later on. Some of the different rewards that this airline’s loyalty program offers include award flights, class upgrades, hotel reservations, and car rentals. This program is completely free to join, though members can work their way up a hierarchy of Elite levels to enjoy many other benefits that are not available to basic members.

Earning OK Plus Points

There are lots of different ways that OK Plus members can earn points, including the following:
In order to utilize the OK Plus program and obtain maximum benefits, you need to earn miles through paid Czech Airlines and SkyTeam flights, rental cars, hotel stays, credit and debit card spending, and other activities.
Paid Flights: Always provide your OK Plus number and PIN when you fly on Czech Airlines or on its SkyTeam alliance partners to earn your miles. Points may vary depending on the booking class.
Partner Flights: Czech Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam alliance, which allows flyers the ability to earn OK Plus miles for flights flown with alliance airlines. The number of miles you earn from each partner varies, so it’s best to reference the OK Plus site to understand what mileage you stand to earn from your upcoming flight. To earn OK Plus miles on a partner flight, just enter in your OK Plus number on your boarding pass and then check your account post-flight to ensure the mileage credits were properly posted to your account.
Credit Card Spending: Czech Airlines has partnered with Citi and Diners Club International, which are only available to Czech citizens. See the list of credit and debit card partners of Czech Airlines through this link.

You can also convert into OK Plus miles partner points from loyalty programs, such as Wyndham Rewards and HHonors Hilton Worldwide, to cite a few.
