Royal Club - Royal Jordanian

Royal Jordanian is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Jordan and joined the oneworld® alliance in 2007. It serves some 60 destinations in 40 countries throughout the Middle East and to Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

Earned Segments

Similar to your Tier Miles, segments also contribute to your progress towards achieving a higher membership status tier. This earning power is calculated on the basis of one flight-segment from flight point-to-point but with the exception of flights between Amman and Aqaba, and Tel Aviv, which are classified as half-sectors.

Your Royal Club Tiers of Membership Achievement

Welcome Bronze SUNBIRD

As soon as you become a member of the Royal Club - Royal Jordanian Club, you commence earning Miles and Segments from and with your first flight experience under the Bronze Sunbird status. You will have the advantage of gaining 1000-bonus award miles following completion of your first flight with the Royal Jordanian or any one of the OneWorld Alliance partner airlines or with non-airline partners’ products.

You are given the opportunity of qualifying for Silver JAY status by earning 15,000-miles or 14-segments during a period of four months.

Status Silver JAY

This status is also recognized by the OneWorld Alliance tier status, as “RUBY.”

It offers you all the basic benefits, as well as additional ones with greater significance, for example;

• Priority Business Class check-in.
• A personal travel arrangements co-coordinator.
• Access to Royal Jordanian Crown lounges.
• Prioritized reservation placing on the waitlist for RJ flights.

You can maintain your Silver JAY status by earning 12,000-Tier-miles or 12-segments during a period of 12-months. Qualification for your Gold SPARROW status is achieved with 20,000-Tier-miles or 30-segments during a 12-months period.

The Gold SPARROW Tier of Value

Comparatively, with the OneWorld Alliance, this is recognized as the Sapphire tier and is a status awarded as a sign of appreciation for your loyalty to the Royal Club - Royal Jordanian program. It is structured to provide you with even greater value and recognition and to increase your earning potential with additional privileges and rewards.

As a “Gold SPARROW” member, you are entitled to various prestigious benefits from RJ and the OneWorld alliance according to your tier status. This will include:

• You retain all the benefits associated with your previous status level, as well as one non-member Gift Award ticket.
• You can maintain this status level by the earning of 30,000 Tier Miles or 26 segments- during a period of twelve-months!
• Qualification for the next level to Platinum HAWK is achieved by your earning 65,000 Tier miles or 46-segments during a 12-month period!

Redeem Your Royal Club - Royal Jordanian Miles

With sufficient Miles collected you can redeem miles for a free flight with tickets directly from RJ, OneWorld Airline partner or an award booking service. Advance booking is advised because of the restricted variety of seating available classified as “Awards seats.”

Claim Missing Miles
