Using Your Credit Card to Earn Status Credits

As an American Express Velocity Platinum Card holder, you will earn 100-Status Credits when spending a minimum sum of $50,000 within your membership-card year. The upgrades needed to achieve this status are as follows:

• Upon your Status Credit balance reaching 250, with your having flown 2-Eligible Sectors, you are automatically upgraded to a Silver Velocity Member.
• Once your Status Credit balance attaining the 500-mark, as well as you having flown 4-Eligible Sectors, your status level is automatically upgraded to Gold Velocity membership.

In the event of your not being able to find your preferred Reward Seat, your Velocity Points may be utilized for any other seat with Virgin Australia!
