Today Gulf Air the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain serves 42 cities in 25 countries and spanning 3- continents! Gulf Air offers its customers Frequent-Flyer Rewards in the form of their Falconflyer program.  Members can experience the best in-flight comfort, from a 28 fleet of wide and narrow-bodied aircraft. This will be supplemented with 39 new Boeing and Airbus aircraft in 2018. The modern aircraft will create a new era for Gulf Air and enhance even further the service excellence provided to its Falconflyer Members and all other travelers!

Earning Your Falconflyer Miles

You can redeem your Falconflyer miles for any Gulf Air flight on Falcon Economy or Gold Class. This applies to full-fare tickets as well as those discounted or on promotion and which qualify for mileage awards at a certain rate.

You will also have the advantage of receiving incentive miles for you to progress to higher status levels; for example:

• Silver cardholders receive extra 25% Falconflyer miles
• Gold receive extra 50%  miles
• Black gains extra 75%  miles
• A full fare Falcon Gold flight receives up to 250% of the distance traveled

When you fly with airline partners and on “Code-share services” as operated with Gulf Air flight numbers, you will earn listed miles. Other partnership miles-earning opportunities include extra miles for exclusive offers from partners, such as:

Falconflyer Membership Tiers

You have the opportunity of achieving significant benefits with increasing rewards as you progress up the Membership Tiers:

Blue Membership: Your Blue membership will grant you the following benefits of being valid for twenty years from the date of card issue. It can earn miles while flying Gulf Air and selected services from program partners, with redeemed miles used for upgrading to Silver membership (minimum 600-loyalty points)

Silver Membership: You require 900-loyalty points to qualify for Silver membership and 630-loyalty points-per-annum at renewal to maintain this status. Valid for 1 year, your Blue Membership status offers 25% extra bonus miles over standard mileage on Gulf Air flights with many and varied other benefits!

Gold Membership: Preferential service for most loyal of members and you only need to collect 2,500 loyalty points to qualify for high-status Gold membership and 1,750 loyalty points accumulated over two-years for retention at renewal date. Valid for two years from the date of card issue, this membership grants you significant benefits, including 50%-bonus miles over standard flight mileage on Gulf Air flights!

Black Membership: If you want the best in luxurious service, this Membership Status level is exclusively for you. To qualify, you are required to earn only 6,500 Loyalty points, and a minimum 4,550 Loyalty points within two years of the card renewal date to retain it. You also receive 75% bonus miles above the standard mileage for flights taken with Gulf Air.

The Falcon Corporate Loyalty Incentive: This is a Frequent Flyer incentive program designed to reward both company and employees when flying with Gulf Air. It offers the ideal incentive for small to medium businesses with international connections and ambitions. From enhanced savings and rewards to full miles awarded to passengers, as well as a 1-mile for each $1-spent bonus for their company! 

Gulf Air Partner Financial & Service Benefits

A new Credit Card is offered to Falconflyer Members (Excluding USA residents) in the form of a partnership with Standard Chartered for Bahrain residents. Gulf Air and Standard Chartered have combined to offer you a single card for travel and banking convenience. 

You can earn 2400 complimentary Falconflyer miles upon activation and accumulate miles for purchases made with your Gold Card. This is at the rate of Bahraini Dinars (BD)-3 to 4-Falconflyer miles. All other foreign currencies offer a rate of BD-3 to 6-Falconflyer miles. Other levels of Credit Card offered are Silver and Blue status levels.

When redeeming your Falconflyer Membership miles for flight-tickets, should you have insufficient miles for claiming the desired reward, you can adjust the due balance by purchasing Top-Up miles. This facility is available in blocks of 1000 miles, for a free flight or upgrades at $25 per 1000 miles, with you able to purchase up to 50 percent of the total redemption value.
