How does the program work?
The JetPrivilege Rewards is a customer loyalty and appreciation program operating worldwide on a 5-Tier basis. Your rewarding experience will start with your JetPrivilege Blue membership, with benefits that include:
- Rewards with the programme currency of JPMiles, when you travel on Jet Airways, Etihad Airways or any of their airline associates
- From transactions with any of other retail and services partners
- 250-Bonus JPMiles-per-flight are awarded for bookings designated services
- Receive exclusive and member-only offers
In addition, you will earn Tier Points and Tier Miles, on every occasion you fly with Jet Airways or other airline partners. This enables you to upgrade your status to the higher program tiers and appropriate status benefits!
Purchase JPMiles
You also have the opportunity of “Topping-up” your, or another JetPrivilege Rewards account with JP-Miles.
This can be achieved by:
- Visiting jetprivilege website; with a minimum purchase of 500 JPMiles @ Rs.1.25 per JPMile and thereafter
- In multiples of 100-miles
JetPrivilidge Rewards Membership Tiers
Blue (base Tier) – to – BluePlus
From your initial Blue-base-Tier membership, you will receive an upgrade to the BluePlus Tier upon completion of one-accrual airline or non-airline-Partner activity during the past 12-months. A determined activity can be:
- A Jet Airways or Etihad flight
- A transaction with any one of over 150 partners
- JPMiles for an Award Flight with Jet Airways or an airline partner to any of over 1,000-destinations
- Redeeming JPMiles for over 1,000 rewards from categories listed at JetPrivilege Rewards Store
This Tier is only reviewed in respect of upgrading your status, and accordingly, you cannot be downgraded back to Blue.
Blue
- 250-Bonus JPMiles on your 1st flight
- Rewards with JPMiles on Jet Airways, Etihad Airways, and over 150 program partners
BluePlus Tier and Upwards
There is no downgrading attached to this Tier, and, therefore, the tier will only be reviewed in connection with upgrading your status to Silver, Gold or Platinum status.
Although the Elite Tiers are valid for a period of 12-months from date of award, your membership card will effectively be extended for one additional month, to 13-months.
This concession is designed to ensure that you, as a valued JetPrivilege Rewards Member, are NOT PENALISED by being unable to collect any benefits that may have accrued to you under your previous member status!
Blue Plus
Membership status is reviewed only for a tier upgrade. There are no downgrade conditions applicable.

A JetPrivilege Rewards member is permitted to utilize their JPMiles for a non-member’s Cabin Upgrade. However, this is effective only when a non-member is booked to travel on:
- Saver and above Fare Choices in Economy
- All Fare Choices in Première
Non-members are permitted to use the Cabin Upgrade Vouchers of JetPrivilege Rewards Members. This applies in the event of a booking for a determined Economy Fare Choices or in respect of all Premiere Fare Choices.
Tier Upgrading
Your Tier-points will be reviewed on a daily basis, related to Tier Points and Miles earned in the preceding 180-days. This enables you to be offers expedited Tier Upgrades! Taken into consideration are frequency and recent travel periods, which also apply to the 12-months Standard upgrade. Included, are your Tier Miles earned during the preceding 365-days which influence your eligibility for a tier upgrade
6-months Fast Track Upgrade
- BluePlus to Silver: 15-Tier points and 22,500-Tier Miles
- Silver to Gold: 30 and 45,000
- Gold to Platinum: 45 and 67,500
12-months Standard Upgrade
- BluePlus to Silver: 20-Tier Points and 30,000-Tier Miles
- Silver to Gold: 40 and 60,000
- Gold to Platinum: 45 and 90,000
Your Tier Renewal Flexibility
To provide you with a flexible JetPrivilege Rewards Tier Miles advantage they are reviewed within the 12-months time-frame preceding your specified review date: Should the determined 12-months criteria not have been met, and then consideration will be given to the 18-month time-frame. Again, should this not be adhered to, a 24-months time-frame will receive consideration.
For each increase in the time-frames, the number of Tier Points and Miles will be reduced, thus making your tier renewal easier.
Redeeming Your Awards
Your first step in redeeming your JPMiles is to confirm your eligibility and the destinations that meet your current balance.
The Jet Airways Award bookings will include carrier charges, based on the:
- Distance (i.e. "Ticketed-Point-Mileage")
- Network
- Cabin class of the award ticket
The carrier fees will apply per passenger basis and collected in addition to all other statutory fees, levies, taxes, and charges applicable. Please refer to the detailed carrier charge calculations. Although the carrier charges are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) they will be applied in your home currency at the prevailing exchange rate.
